We’ll see about that in the next couple of years. This was one of the more prominent campaign promises by Trump, and the dude has a habit of actually following through on that, whether you like it or not.
I wouldn't call it hostile. Defensive seems a better word.
In any case let's see him follow through on that. But I would like to see some real steps and not just discussions with some business leaders, maybe some nasty tweets, declaring victory and then forgetting about it.
It will: https://www.cnbc.com/2018/08/01/trump-clears-way-for-health-.... Downvote brigade has arrived, so I can't respond. This is not what he was talking about, but you gotta start somewhere. I'm on an Obamacare plan myself, and I agree that it's a "total disaster". $13k+/yr for barely any coverage at all.
Hm. I'd like to understand more. Why not just go back to your other health care plan? (or, I suppose, why not just pay the penalty?) Also, what circumstances lead to $13K a year? -- I'm only familiar with folks at the lower wage spectrum that are definitely not paying that and are getting much better coverage (read: any) than they would've 5 years ago. Thanks in advance.
