I built a digital camera that prints photos on thermal paper (instructables.com)

I built this camera as a side project with help from a couple friends. It uses an ESP32-CAM for capture and a RISC-V MCU to control the UI and thermal printer. All the hardware is custom — including the PCB and 3D-printed enclosure. It prints real-time, grainy black-and-white photos on 58mm receipt paper.

Full write-up includes technical breakdown, design process, photos, and a build video. Feedback or questions welcome.
