If you don't try to have fun with it then you're not going to have fun.


I think the problem is that, once you get good enough to reliably spot AI output at a given level of obviousness, seeing more of it stops being fun and starts being just depressing, and this is more true the more of it you see.

There's no shame in not being that experienced yet, but if you're not, you should recognize that people who are are naturally going to have a different reaction.


Now imagine it’s that, plus, it torpedoed a career change that involved graduating from art school in 2024 because it fucked the entry-level creative job market.

Definitely not having ‘fun’ with it anymore than I had ‘fun’ with cancer.


I’ll bet you haven’t had to look for a job in a really long time.
