Not sure if that's sarcasm or not, but I do think this is one of the more powerful positives to Uber, keeping drunks off the road.



Cabs haven't done this?


Uber is cheaper and more convenient than a cab, so it makes it much more viable to leave your car at home when going out drinking.


Cabs are also, by virtue of medallion restrictions, limited so that they are not always readily available at peak hours.
